In 1976, a group of 20 people felt the need for a new radio in Francisco Beltrão.
After acquiring the first license to operate, Rádio Educadora went on air in 1978.Those responsible for this achievement for the municipality were: Élcio Tomazoni, Enio Lorenzetti, Domingos Bertaioli, Júlio Opolski, Kit Abdala, Cláudio Liston, Altair Penso, Luiz Alberto de Oliveira, João Batista Manfrói, Ronaldo Tramujas, Antônio Anghinoni, Moacir Dal Oglio, Fernandes Martinelli, Boaventura Teixeira da Luz, Aryzone Mendes de Araújo, Clodoveo Franciosi, Miguel da Silva, Túlio Zanchet, Jorge Camilotti and Tânia Pesente (daughter of Vitório Pesente).In the beginning, due to the era we were living in, the purpose of the radio was political.
However, over time, more parties were formed, which led to changes in the broadcasters objectives.From politics it became commercial.
The Educator then became free, without distinction of parties or religion, and always with the concern to praise the veracity of the facts.
Given this history of transformations, Rádio Educadora gained credibility among listeners.The quality of the radio can be verified with the evolution and growth of the company.
Today, the broadcaster has its own headquarters and relies on the work of 29 employees and three directors, Vera Schimitz, (general director) Moacir Dal’Oglio Filho, (financial director).Even with 47 years of operation, Rádio Educadora today is increasingly closer to its listeners, with the concern that every day it maintains the main characteristic of being “The Peoples Radio”, with ethics and responsibility.FM Educator, the Radio that unites generations!!
